About Biofeedback

Quantum Biofeedback System

The purpose of biofeedback can be summarized in these five statements:

  • Biofeedback is intended to help people learn how to relax.
  • Biofeedback is intended to help people learn how to re-educate their muscles.
  • Biofeedback may be used to help people reduce their stress.
  • Biofeedback may be used to help people manage their pain.
  • Biofeedback may be used to help people improve the quality of their lives.

In approximately five minutes, the Quantum Biofeedback System can simultaneously detect and record information about the individual client’s stress reactions. The Quantum Biofeedback System reveals a client’s voltage, amperage, resistance and other electrical calculations which may be important indicators of wellness. Different lifestyle factors which could be contributing to the body’s overall stress load are reflected in the Quantum Biofeedback System’s Suppression Obstruction Cure (SOC) scores. Information about reactions to over 11,000 subtle stress related signatures and physiological parameters are also reported for client education.

The initial session is the “electrical handshake” between the client and the software. The initial session is a generalized exploration of themes of imbalance in body systems and honoring what the body says is the most acute and in need of support. The information collected during this session allows the technician to develop a plan of future training that would be most beneficial to the client. Clients will often request a training for something that is acutely bothering them in order to reduce stress and encourage new patterns of balance and harmony within the mind, body, and spirit.

Quantum Biofeedback is a non-invasive sophisticated technology that energetically scans the strength of your reactions to thousands of electronic signatures of a broad array of items, and retrains the body and mind to a better “reactivity” in a finely tuned way and re-educates muscles for stress reduction. Excess stress is a leading precursor to many diseases and conditions. Stress can come from many sources such as toxicity, trauma, pathogens, mental factors, perverse energy, hyper reactions, heredity, habits, and deficiencies. As acute and chronic forms of stress continue, the burden on the body/mind complex continues.

The Hans Selye model of alarm/adaptation/exhaustion stress starts by producing an alarm response in the body, which will provoke symptoms. If the stress continues, the body will go into an adaptation stage, which can be symptom free. According to this model, therefore, a lack of symptoms is not a sign of good health. This is how some people can tell me they have a life threatening disease and be symptom free. Our bodies come equipped with all the necessary biological components of healing. The secret is found in the body’s multi-leveled communication networks consisting of light energies (called biophotons), hormones, and electrochemical information, and in understanding why and how they malfunction.

Over the course of the last century, scientists from varied disciplines, such as molecular biology, quantum physics, and medical physiology, have been working diligently to provide solid, scientific proof that the human body is controlled and regulated by a quantum energy field- a network of innumerable biophotons, which acts like an extremely fast supercomputer in the body. The device I use measures Electro Physiological Reactivity.

How can the Quantum Biofeedback System help to improve my health?

The Quantum Biofeedback System functions in a multitude of ways, it can send signals to measure and record electro-physiological reactions to a multitude of items, re-educate certain muscles, nerves or organs or it can retrain areas of the body / mind to healthier patterns. In other cases, it can invert certain signals which seem to be closely associated with a stress pattern. The Quantum Biofeedback System is by far the most comprehensive biofeedback system on the market today. Pre-designed stress reduction protocols may be used, or programs can be designed to meet the specific individual needs of each client. There are hundreds of different training programs that may used back-to-back in limitless combinations to obtain optimum results.

Overview

Biofeedback is a technique you can use to learn to control your body's functions, such as your heart rate. With biofeedback, you're connected to electrical sensors that help you receive information (feedback) about your body (bio). This feedback helps you focus on making subtle changes in your body, such as relaxing certain muscles, to achieve the results you want, such as reducing pain. In essence, biofeedback gives you the power to use your thoughts to control your body, often to improve a health condition or physical performance.

Types of biofeedback

Your therapist might use several different biofeedback methods. Determining the method that's right for you depends on your health problems and goals. Biofeedback methods include:

  • Brainwave. This type of method uses scalp sensors to monitor your brain waves using an electroencephalograph (EEG).
  • Breathing. During respiratory biofeedback, bands are placed around your abdomen and chest to monitor your breathing pattern and respiration rate.
  • Heart rate. This type of biofeedback uses finger or earlobe sensors with a device called a photoplethysmograph or sensors placed on your chest, lower torso or wrists using an electrocardiograph (ECG) to measure your heart rate and heart rate variability.
  • Muscle. This method of biofeedback involves placing sensors over your skeletal muscles with an electromyography (EMG) to monitor the electrical activity that causes muscle contraction.
  • Sweat glands. Sensors attached around your fingers or on your palm or wrist with an electrodermograph (EDG) measure the activity of your sweat glands and the amount of perspiration on your skin, alerting you to anxiety.
  • Temperature. Sensors attached to your fingers or feet measure your blood flow to your skin. Because your temperature often drops when you're under stress, a low reading can prompt you to begin relaxation techniques.
